How long will your refinish last?
Any refinish, when done by Surface Pros, will extend the life of your bathtub for 10-15 years or more when you use the basic care and maintenance guidelines.

Care and Maintenance
Due to non-porous surface of the finish, there is no need to use abrasive cleansers. Any household liquid detergent will give excellent results. To remove mineral stains, use a mild acid solution such as a liquid bowl cleaner. All organic coatings must cure. They start to cure from the time of application for a total of approximately thirty (30) days.
DONT’S 1. DO NOT use the surface for 24 hours after resurfaced.
2. DO NOT lay soap or bottles or any objects on the finish at any time.
3. Leaky faucets must always be repaired.
4. DO NOT use abrasive cleansers. No S-O-S pads not comet – NO Soft Scrub.
5. DO NOT use loose bath mats with suctions underneath.
6. Any surface dust will dissipate in 3-4 weeks with normal cleaning and usage, DO NOT pick surface dust off with finger.
7. Best way to keep tub clean, wipe down with towel after each use (you DON”T have to wipe dry)
8. Caulk around tub before using.
9. Here are some good cleaners to use: Lysol Basin & Tile Cleaner Mr. Clean (liquid) DOW Fantastic *Wax tubs once every 4 months with a urethane polish (turtle wax 2001). You should polish your bathtub five (5) days after it has been refinished.*
